OnGuard Laundry Detergent is a natural-based, ultra concentrated 6X laundry detergent that utilizes the power of On Guard Protective Blend and bio-originated enzymes to target and lift stains for amazingly clean clothes. doTERRA laundry detergent is superior to other laundry detergents because it has a proprietary blend of naturally derived surfactants.  It is a safe, non-toxic alternative to common detergents that you find in the grocery store.  Surfactants are a wetting agent and they reduce surface tension so that means it is loosening the fibers in your clothes so that it allows for maximum stain release.  

How is it different than normal laundry detergent?  It whitens and cleans naturally without harsh chemicals that are harmful to the environment and harmful to our families. There are no sulfates, phosphates, chlorine, bleach or other of the harsh chemicals that are unfriendly you either your family or the environment.  It can also be used as a pre-treatment for stains.

 Can I just say how excited I am for this? Not only does this have On Guard essential oil in it, but a combination of five different enzymes (listed above) that will remove protein, starches, organic stains, fatty acids and oils. The essential oil scent will flash off in the dryer, so there will ultimately be no scent to your laundry. It will be CLEAN.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

HE washers: ¼ cap (1 TBSP)*Conventional Washers: ½ cap (2 TBSP)*

*Use more as needed for heavily soiled loads.

 

Stains: Put a small amount of detergent directly on the stain. Let sit for 3–10 minutes; wash as directed. For very stubborn stains, re-apply the detergent before the garment is dry and repeat the wash cycle. After repeating wash, allow garment to dry before attempting additional stain treatment. As with any stain removal, test for colorfastness of garments in small area before treating.
